Taylor Joy states that the move was extremely stressful. She refused to learn English and believed she would be able to return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after she left Northlands. Later she attended Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in shows. Then she dropped out of the high school aged 16 to focus on her acting career. Taylor-Joy has always wanted to be an actor.
