Arike Ogunbowale, a Nigerian American pro basketball player who plays for the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. Arike Ogunbowale was a college basketball player as a member of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish before being drafted to the Wings as the fifth overall selection in the 2019 WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on March 2 1997. She was the second child of Yolanda Ogunbowale and Gregory Ogunbowale. Ogunbowale was selected as one of the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team 7 July 2014. Ogunbowale was also selected to the ACC All-Freshman Team for her debut collegiate season.
